Those two functions where added but not yet used or even finished. I was planning on saving the stats from the message processing.

Let's say someone in your alliance spied on a user you were attacking and then hit them 5 times. I would have the latest spying saved in the database. Then the attacks would subtract those values how many gold/soldiers they lost. After you were finished the projected values would be close enough for everyone to see. It was merely an easy way to approximate without having to spy again. Obviously as time goes on the projected values wouldn't be good enough anymore.

Also while that person did that it would track of how many gold/soldiers were lost overall. That way you could have running totals of how much damage was done to a person or to you from a single person.

Eventually if you were at war you could keep track of how much damage was done to the other alliance and compare with how you were doing to get an idea of just how bad/good you were doing.

Looks like I forgot to approve these last two comments.

Hmm I'm not sure. I would try retyping the line or adding something before and after it to see if the error still occurs on the same line.

i forget to escape the HTML... so, here is the code again:

$playernamex = explode('=1">',$playername);
$playernamexx = str_replace('</a>','',$playernamex[1]);
$playernamexx = str_replace(' ', ' ', $playernamexx);

checkUserPageExists($playernamexx);

I found the bug why Spy and Survey inserted data to different place of the userpage opening. Their $playername variables come from exploding messages (which makes them as a link). Other functions get their $playername vars from greasemonkey javascript (which is a flat text). So i changed update.php of Spy and Survey function like this:

$playernamex = explode('=1">',$playername);
$playernamexx = str_replace('','',$playernamex[1]);
$playernamexx = str_replace(' ', ' ', $playernamexx);

checkUserPageExists($playernamexx);

cheers.

When I first starting saving the messages there was no timestamp in Warbook. So I had a small Greasemonkey script to refresh the page every 5 minutes so at least I could get it close enough. There was no real way to tell at the time. Now that there are timestamps it probably would be worth it to convert the correct time and insert that into the database. My timestamps are unnecessary now but I prefer the format they are in when displayed.

I had used PST time as the default since my hosting company was in that timezone. The default is what ever timezone your hosting server is in. I didn't do any calculations for it.

I still wonder how do you calculate the PST time, because what I get is the time when the messages are inserted to database, not when the actions were taken. Except all my own actions.

Your kingdom is under attack by Z***! You lost the battle, losing 4,866 troops, 10,206 acres, and 665,457 gold. [00:09:58 ago]

You magically scry the structures of d***'s kingdom.
